Beautiful theater and nice sound. The seats in the balcony seem to not be angled as steep as other theaters I’ve been to making it kind of hard to see over the person in front of you. No elevator but the stairs were not too bad. The staff here were very friendly and they have good customer service. It’s a lovely theater and I look forward to seeing another musical here when it’s available.

Beautiful Theater! We won lottery seats and I actually loved being in the front row next to the orchestra. The partial view of the rear of the stage didn’t bother me, especially because the cast gets so close! I loved seeing the costumes and actors up close. I saw Sweeney Todd, so good!

I adore the Lunt! There’s so much beautiful history attached to it. The seats are comfortable both in the orchestra and the mezzanine. It’s kept in pristine condition from what I could tell. It’s been such a joy to be in this space during the run of Sweeney Todd. I feel very blessed to see it a few times while in the city.

Wonderful theatre! I'm not too big on musicals and Broadway acts but I saw Sweeney Todd here and let me tell you, I fell in love with this show! My wife and I have since gone and seen it 3 more times and even went on a day trip from NC to watch it, have dinner, and fly right back the same day! The atmosphere in the venue fits the setting for the Sweeny Todd show so well. Although I haven't seen any other shows here I would highly recommend it! It's sooooo sad to see Sweeney go 😢!

Named in honor of America's foremost husband-wife acting couple, Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne, my partner and I arrived at the Lunt Fontanne Theatre last night to see Sweeney Todd during Broadway week. We were here back in 2018 for the performance of Summer: The Donna Summer Musical. About 45 minutes prior to the start of the show, the doors were opened, and the staff were outside directing patrons into entry lines, depending on the location of their seats. The staff will seat those on the mezzanine level first. However, due to the bitter cold winds, once those in the mezzanine went inside, the staff would then let those in the orchestra level inside to the mezzanine level to use the bathroom, stop at the bar or buy souvenirs, and wait until the inside theater doors were opened. Once inside, we were greeted by the staff, who scanned both of our tickets and then directed us to our seats. Several ushers inside were making sure that everyone got to their seats without issue. Since the stage is so high in the first 4 rows, these will have some view obstructions. It’s suggested to get seats beyond that, as we were in orchestra row K. The acoustics were perfect, especially to hear the live music from a classic 26-player orchestration and be able to see the stage without any obstructions. However, some seats were tight if you're tall and don’t leave room for each other. The performance was incredibly lively, and the atmosphere had just the right touch of spooky elements, adding to the overall charm of the show, which we can recommend.

It was really wonderful NYC theater. I sat in the balcony. It was still a great view to see Sweeney Todd. I could see all thr effects from a far. The voices sounded so perfectly here!! The downside was how tight thr seats were next ro each other. A great upside is location is not far from time square.

If you are a fan of theatre this one is not to be missed. The allure of its historical prowess are a big draw but only a close second to the many amazing plays that go on here. We came for Sweeney Todd and left thoroughly impressed. It's a gorgeous theatre with nice seats.

What a beautiful theater ! Visited 11/10 to see Sweeney Todd. Was slightly taken aback though when we walked in and was in the auditorium ! No lobby! Judging by the long line to get I thought we surely would be running late, but once the doors opened, we were inside quickly and seated - show started a couple minutes after 7. I even had time to run back to the bar and grab a cocktail- Seats were comfy, acoustics great. Perfect place for a show !

Saw Sweeny Todd. Spectacular! I'm a big man and seats were still very comfortable. 2nd row orchestra is not too close. Sound and lighting were perfect. Great show. Staff was friendly. I can not even begin to imagine how hard it is to be in hospitality a block off Time Square. Bathroom was clean, line went quick. Line for drinks was quick. Paid predictably ridiculous prices, but each drink was a double of top shelf rum and actual Pepsi. Plus the cup was a souvenir. Prepaying for drinks and getting them during intermission with no line was clutch. 10/10.

We had a great experience here. I will say, the only issue we had was the height of the stage vs the seating. We paid a huge amount to sit in the front row, but the stage was so tall that we couldn't see anything that wasn't right on the stage in front of us, nevermind on the high second story platform of the set. Every other theater we have been to the stage sat slightly lower so you can at least see the whole stage. I would highly recommend choosing a seat at least 8 rows back or the mezzanine so you can full enjoy the show.

Absolutely beautiful theater. The line outside was very long but went fast. The drinks were expensive but the staff was working hard and fast to accommodate everyone. The show was a few minutes delayed to accommodate for all the people in line which was nice, they told us in line for drinks how much longer we had. The bathrooms were well organized, there was someone directing traffic during intermission because the lines to the bathroom were so long. But again lovely theater, would absolutely recommend and come to again.

Gorgeous theater. The seats were not bad, if you are not very tall, there is just adequate leg space. There is a neat restroom and a small bar.You can also purchase merch. The sound in the theater is exceptionally good. Even though we were in the rare mezzanine, we could hear the songs perfectly well and enjoyed the show a lot.A good theater and an outstanding show.

What an amazing place to see a Broadway show! We had box seats on the right side of the theater first row and it was the perfect view. We saw Sweeney Todd and I was blown away. The theater is the perfect size for this type of show and the audience really got into it. If you get a chance to grab the box seats definitely take advantage of it. Of course, any day is a good day to see a Broadway show, but especially on a rainy day!

Went to watch my #1 Broadway show of all time, so you can say I attended the tale. Longest queue I've experienced to enter but it's understandable. It was a full house and the Sweeney company didn't disappoint. In terms of the theater itself, legroom's not that bad. However, take note that the stage is definitely on the higher side so I suggest to get an orchestra seat in the middle rows. Plus it's Sweeney Todd so you'll look up a lot of times.
